Jon & Ashley’s OBX Beach Wedding was one that we have ALL been waiting for!

When I say All… I mean not only Jon & Ashley, but also their entire family & friends, and a lot of the local wedding industry!

Ever since Jon proposed to Ashley on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii… ( Can we all just pause and say well done?) This has been a wedding that we have been anticipating.

With all the rain that has hit us these past few weeks I was really concerned with the weather.

However, on May 14, 2016 the clouds disappeared and the sun shone so beautifully!

The day was absolutely PERFECT!

If anyone knows Ashley, knows that she is truly a colorful person.  Her smile is so contagious.  She is full of so much personality and can make anyone feel at ease.  Not only that but she is also genius when it comes to marketing.  She has used her personality and love for all things color and tropical to brand her business.  So when you take a peek at her website you are also taking a peek into who Ashley really is.  As a business owner ourselves, this is actually very hard to do and yet she has done this so incredibly well.

She approached her wedding just as she does with everything else in life.  She approached with lots of vision, color, and everything that brings her & Jon happiness!

Staying true to themselves, Ashley & Jon’s wedding was held on the beach!  The outer banks was the perfect backdrop with its gorgeous blue skies and beautiful beaches.  These two left no detail unthought of.  I am so in love with the big balloons with their initials, beautiful palms, and of course lots and lots of pineapples!!!

I know that this might sound cliche’ but Luke & I were completely honored to have been asked to be apart of their wedding day. As a talented photographer herself and a tremendously talented community we are still so grateful to have been able to take part and capture such a gorgeous wedding for such an incredible couple!

Thank-You Jon, Ashley, & Max.  You 3 are now officially a family and Luke & I absolutely couldn’t be more happy for you! Congratulations on finally getting hitched and here’s to a lifetime of pineapples, beach balls, and good times!
