First Landing in Virginia Beach is a beautiful location.
However, when you come at the right time and venture back far enough on the trail… it becomes magical! We love shooting all types of Photography virginia beach , but I will say engagement sessions are our favorites! First Landing State Park offers so many options and the lighting is always amazing! We absolutely love it here and I am excited to be heading back this week for a maternity session! Yay! More about that later!
Mark & Jade
These two are seriously the sweetest. It is amazing that you can meet someone for the first time with a camera in hand and feel like good friends. I could hang out with this couple on a Friday night! Mark & Jade showed up with one outfit but totally rocked it! I love the dress she picked out. It was absolutely perfect! After taking a little hike on the trail, we got started. The moss was so gorgeous and we were able to capture some beautiful pictures.
At one point of the session, we asked them to share their proposal story. Line by line, taking turns. They were right on cue and it was such a cute story. Funny thing was that the proposal almost didn’t have it because of various circumstances. However, Mark was persistent and got Jade where he had planned and of course her answer was yes.
The one thing I am most excited about for their big day…
To see Jade in her dress!!! Yes, I am so excited that they will be husband and wife! They are the cutest couple and truly fit together so well, but I must say, Jade is a stunner! She is going to make such a beautiful bride and I know I will most likely be squealing in the corner when I see her in her gown. Don’t mind me… It is completely normal!

The light was harsh on the water… But Luke & I are loving direct sun. Just look at those blue skies!!!
