Hi there! Welcome to the Luke & Ashley blog, a journal about our lives, our beautiful couples, and their stories we get to tell. Stay a while and do say hello if you please!
Dillon and Abbey had such a beautiful day at the Kiln Creek Golf Club Country Club. The skies were such a pretty blue and we even got some shade coverage during the outdoor ceremony! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect celebration! We were happy to have a clear sunny day because the last wedding we shot at Kiln Creek was during a hurricane! You can see that here!
With the gorgeous grounds that belong to the country club and the newly rennovated reception space, the club is such a great place for couples to have their wedding. The all white and window lit reception area was ideal for photos! Speaking of this space, Luke and I were so thrilled that the staff didn’t put the salt and pepper and other condiments on the table until after the photos were done! Do you know what that means for photographers when they do detail shot of the tables? It means unicorn and rainbows gushing out of my heart with gratitude! Seriously I love how thoughtful the staff was regarding this!
The perfect summer wedding
I mentioned before how beautful this day was! What a way to kick off our summer weddings. The blues and hydrangeas always remind me of summer and the vintage books and pails for decor was such a sweet touch! The blues Abbey chose for her bridesmaid dresses paired beautifully with the blue hydrangeas they carried. I especially loved the delicate top of the gowns!
These two know how to party and I especially love how they danced the night away! I do not think Abbey left the dance floor from the first dance to the last! My kind of girl!
Wishing Dillion and Abbey an incredible and beautiful marriage! Thank you so much for having us!
