This Two Rivers Country Club Wedding was an incredible celebration!

Sean & Christy had a specific vision for their day. They wanted it to be classy, fun, and with a little glam thrown in the mix. If I do say so myself their wedding was all these things and more! Sean looked so regal and handsome in his white Jacket and black bowtie. The bridesmaids were glamours in their gold sequin gown and Christy was absolutely stunning. Her gown was a showstopper and the two of them together looked like they stepped out of an issue of The Knot. Seriously some of the best looking wedding parties we have seen!

I won’t lie, I was a little nervous about the weather this past weekend.

For the past couple of weeks, it has done nothing but rain here. When I would pull up the 10-day forecast, I would see nothing but rain every day! All this rain was starting to get a little depressing! We had two weddings to prepare for and according to the weather app, we would be shooting in the rain! Luke and I were mentally preparing ourselves for this rainy weekend.

We woke up on Friday the day of Christy and Sean’s wedding to looming clouds. We were prepared to have a rainy day wedding. However, throughout the day the rain never really fell. Maybe a few sprinkles here and there but nothing like what we had seen. It was amazing! The temperatures dropped some and the clouds loomed overhead creating amazing skies throughout the day. It was incredible! Seriously these skies were not photoshopped! It was real life!

Two Rivers has one of the prettiest views in Williamsburg as a wedding venue. Overlooking the James River, Sean and Christy were able to have their wedding ceremony outside in the gazebo and it was seriously picturesque.

The bride and groom decided on writing their own vows to one another and as Sean began to share, he couldn’t help but get choked up as he declared his love for his bride. It was a beautiful intimate moment that I am sure they will both cherish all their days.

The new Mr. and Mrs. opened up the dance floor and there was not one time that evening where it was empty. Thanks to Roger from Astro and an incredibly lively bunch, the night was a success in celebrating the newlyweds.
