Summer Kingsmill Wedding

Luke and I are loving this Summer Kingsmill Wedding located in Williamsburg!

This was our very first Summer Kingsmill wedding and with another one coming right around the corner we are so excited about a new venue to shoot at! Kingsmill Resort is in the heart of Williamsburg and is such a gorgeous location for a wedding!

We try to meet all our couples at their engagement session before the wedding. However, because of locations, time-restraints, and other reasons, this does not always get to happen. Because Jenny & Alex are not local, we did not get to meet them face to face until the day before!

In the beginning days, these types of meetings used to scare me! However, we have learned to make the best of any situation and we soon learned with Jenny & Alex there was no need to have any type of hesitation. They are both so down to earth and so much fun to be around! I am sad they are not local because we would definitely love to hang out with them on the regular!

We got to hear a little bit of their story throughout the day and we must say it is something out of a 90’s romcom! They met and dated a little and then split up for about 10 years! They reconnected after 10 years and here they are getting married!

Summer is winding down and we are gearing up for our fall weddings.

As much as I love autumn, I will miss these summer weddings with the amazing golden glow that came in the evenings. Jenny & Alex lucked out by missing hurricane Dorian and ended up with some pretty amazing weather!

We were able to take Jenny & Alex out for some sunset photos and we lucked out with getting access to the newly renovated Kingsmill Estate! These two looked like Hollywood A-listers walking along in the backyard!

Despite their Hollywood appearance, these two are the most down to earth, friendliest people you will ever meet.

Luke and I are lucky to have met this couple, their families, and capture their day! Couples like Jenny & Alex prove to us that we are doing exactly what we are called to do.
