October. My most favorite month. It is when the temperatures cool down, the leaves start to change, and routines are back into place. However, I must say, October, this year, you have been quite literally insane.
I love you, but next year let’s take it slow.
Don’t get me wrong; we had some fun. Some excellent times, in fact.
Five of our 2019 couples tied the knot in October, and you showed off with the perfect weather and most gorgeous sunsets.
2 of our 2020 couples were able to squeeze in their engagement sessions, and we had a blast getting to know them and hearing all about their wedding plans.
24 Mini Sessions were completed, with only two having to be rescheduled due to rain. That in itself is quite an accomplishment!
31 days in October… 31 different moments captured.
In the midst of all of that, we had a grand time apple-picking in Carter Mountain, filled our remaining time with theater rehearsal, homeschool, and of course, trying to stay on top of emails!
There were many happy moments and memories made.
I will be honest October; I am utterly exhausted.
However, more than exhausted, I am grateful. Next year, we might change some things up, because I want to make room to soak in more of you, only because you are my favorite month.
So as we venture into November, the month that is known for its gratitude, I want to start by saying all the things that October brought to us that I am incredibly grateful for.

- Friendors who understand this business with us and understand the crazy.
- My kids. We have the most AMAZING kids.
- Friends who stick by us even we don’t have the time to be great friends during our busy season. ( We will come back around we promise)!

- Our church.
- Brooke. ( Our assistant who helped me keep my sanity)!
We are approaching the end of this season, and we are truly honored for the community we have. November and December are going to be just as amazing, and we want to say THANK YOU for hanging with us!
