For this couple we headed to Smithfield, Va for their engagement session. This quaint little town on Main Street was the perfect setting for these two. We met up with Shayna over the winter. We instantly loved her! Her personality, energy, and fun made us so excited to make her a Luke & Ashley bride. Fast forward many months later to this past weekend, we finally were able to meet Jared.
And instantly we loved him! Seriously, these two are the sweetest! We love their personalities together and they are the type of people who just flow with whatever comes along.
Usually when shooting engagement sessions, it takes a little while to warm up to the camera. Especially when the couple doesn’t really know us. This is the norm and something that we expect.
This was not the case with Jared & Shayna.
These two were made for the camera! They fell in so comfortably together and we barely had to coach them at all! Their chemistry and their at ease nature were so much fun to work with. I seriously cannot wait for their wedding day! Shayna’s dream of a boho intimate wedding is going to be a dream for us to photograph! And Jared is going to rock the groom portraits! He is such a natural!

Veterans Day. This will be the day they tie the knot. They will be getting married at the Historic Post Office in Hampton. We cannot wait to celebrate with them and capture their gorgeous day!
Thank-you Jared & Shayna for being amazing! We will see you two soon!
