This white wedding at Fishermen’s Inn was like a fairytale!
This wedding was what fairytales are made of.
Lauren wished and prayed for snow since the beginning and on the day of her wedding, she had the prettiest snowfall ALL DAY! When brides plan for a winter wedding, this is usually what they have in mind! It was absolutely amazing and we are so incredibly happy for her & Robin.
This wedding is extra special to my heart because Lauren is my cousin. It was such a joy to be able to travel to Illinois and not only capture this amazing day for the two of them, but also visit and catch up with family. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding to start our 2019 off.
Fishermen’s Inn is a unique wedding venue located in Elburn Illinois.
Not too far from Chicago, we were able to scout out the venue before the wedding. If you follow us on Instagram, I am sure you saw Luke’s outrageously LONG instastories on the venue! ( I’m working on him with this!) 🙂
When we arrived, there was no snow. And yet the grounds were still so beautiful. I love how they really put time and effort into their landscape. I want to go back in the summer and venture around because again it was so beautiful. The very next day when the snow fell on the wedding day, it just elevated the scene and we just felt so lucky to be able to capture the beauty there! If you know us, you probably know we want our own wedding venue one day and looking at this beautiful building, gave us so many ideas.
Lauren was such a classy bride.
Her wedding dress was simple and yet so stunning on her. She just has this classic beauty about her that is flawless. I also loved the contrast of Robin’s tux with her dress. They both were so classy and against the winterwonderland backdrop, they looked amazing!
