Happy Birthday To My Sweet Bri… { Hampton Roads Photographer }

5 years ago today we welcomed the sweetest most kindest little girl into our lives.

It’s funny when you have one child you can never imagine loving another child as much as the first.  And yet God does this crazy thing…

He expands our heart.  x2 the capacity.  And now in my case x3.  It’s so incredible to love each child so much that your heart just explodes.

And that is what my little Bri taught me.  5 years is a big year!  The transition of preschool to kindergarten.

Becoming more independent and yet still not too big to be cuddled and held.

I have been told all the time since day 1 that something is different about her.  Something beautiful and unique.

I already witness the imagination, tenderness, and kindness that radiates from this little girl.  Always compassionate about others and already a diplomat.

I can’t wait to see all that she becomes and grows into.

The other day we went for a mother/daughter date and little photoshoot.  She absolutely LOVES to get her pictures taken and was thrilled that it was just me and her!

 I absolutely loved our sweet time together and just like I said yesterday my goal is to be more intentional with my time

so that I can enjoy those special moments with each of my kids.

I know this isn’t a post about weddings & engagements or even a pretty senior.  But this is a post about one of the most important people in my life.  My little girl.

So I appreciate you reading and I hope that not only we can be an encouragement in our business but also in how we do life as husband and wife and as parents.
