I am all about making memories with my kids.  I want them to grow up and look back and remember the times we had fun and the times we spent  together.

 It is so important to me.  I have many memories of my own of my mom and me that I cherish to this day.

As a small business owner and homeschooling mom, it is so easy to get caught up in the ” To Do List “.

We have to get our school work done, we have to learn about this and about that.  I have to do my blog posts, I need to edit, I need to do more research…and the list goes on and on….

And lets not forget everyday things such as housework, laundry, and errands.  I am becoming more aware of how fast my days go by and it is actually sad.

My goal is though to be intentional with the time I do have.  It’s okay to put work or school on hold and just have some fun.

So that is what we did last week.  It was a spur of the moment decision but we decided to bake and decorate some Christmas Coookies to get in the spirit of Christmas and have some fun!

And boy did we have fun!  Disclaimer: If anyone who knows me, knows I do not like messes… But we threw that out the window!

My kitchen and table was COVERED in flour! My kids were covered in flour!  But we had so much fun so it was all good!

The kids had a blast and are already asking if we are going to do it again… Why yes of course!
