A couple of weeks ago, Luke and I traveled to Chesapeake, VA to shoot a wedding. I met this couple over the summer and loved how easy going they were.
Brandon and Rachel are cute together. They have been married a year but never had a real wedding. Most people (including myself), that never had a wedding always say we will have one “later.” And yet they never do. Money, kids, and time become more important. However, these two were determined to have their day and I am so glad they did. It was sweet watching them get ready, Rachel was even nervous which was so cute! 🙂
The setting was simple and most decor was DIY. (Which I think they did a FABULOUS job!). They had a slideshow playing of all their pictures, A display of pictures from when they were young, (I love that pictures are important to them). 🙂 The cake was made by one of the bridesmaids, which was gorgeous! I think she should open shop!
I loved everything about their day how relaxed and fun it was.
Here are some of my favorites! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Taylor!

Father and Daughter Dance… Love the emotion on this one.
Love the Cake!
The person that was supposed to work the photo booth didn’t work out so of course we stepped up and assisted….We had a blast and I was saddened we didn’t get to get a picture before it was taken down…But definitely next time!
