I knew that when I met them I had to use a Pride & Prejudice quote in the opening of their blog.  They are two old souls that that although so different they also are so much alike.  I know I said how much I adore them when I blogged their engagement session.  However, that was a year ago.  So let me reiterate.  I absolutely love them.  These two are so remarkably down to earth and so at ease.  Annie laughed through the day and the two of them embraced the cold like pros during their portrait time.

I just love the way Annie falls into Stanton’s arms.  He is her safe place.  He brings out the best in her and vice versa.

Stanton & Annie had their wedding at Cousiac Manor.

This hidden gem of a venue is right on the lake and so serene!  It took us about an hour to get there but once you are there you feel so far away!  The Corsiac Manor is such a gorgeous place!

We started the day with detail shots and getting ready pictures.   I just loved the way Annie laughed and took in every moment.  There was no rush, there was not worry.  She was full of joy and anticipation from the very beginning.  Nothing phased her and her bridesmaids were just the same.

The two married outside in front of the lake.  Their ceremony was one like I had never seen.  They love being out in nature and decided instead of doing a unity candle or sand unity ceremony they decided to do trail mix.  That is right trail mix.  They had all their favorite ingredients on the table and each person of the bridal party put the mix into a big bowl.  As each individual went up, the officiant described what that ingredient stood for.  Even Annie and Stanton got in on the fun and ended the moment with their favorites and maybe even snuck in a little snack!

They ended the night dancing all the way until the end.  These two are incredible dancers.  They actually met while taking Swing Dance lessons and their chemistry on the dance floor is amazing to witness!

Thank-you Annie & Stanton for an amazing day!  You two are seriously adorable and we are so excited to be able to capture the beginning of this incredible adventure!
