I have been reading this book lately called “One Month To Live.”

It’s an incredible book talking about how life would change as we know it if we only knew we had one month to live.

Why is this?  Why do we want to start living once we are given a terminal diagnosis?  This book challenges those that read to live everyday as if you only had a little time on earth.

Right now I am reading the chapter on finding your gift and using it to your fullest.

I don’t think photography is our gift.  Maybe it is but I think it is deeper than that.  I think photography is the outpouring of what is on the inside.

Luke and I are creative beings and photography is just one of the many outlets that we can release this creativity.

However, I do think our main gift is serving.  Luke and I love to serve others.

We love to see a need and be able to meet it.  We love the smile and glow on someones face when we present them with our gift.

Being able to serve someone else is what brings us joy the most.

I know there  is a bigger plan for our lives than what I see.  But sometimes it is so hard to get out of our little bubble and see the bigger picture.

And lately I have been reminded that there is a huge picture and we just play a little small part in the grand scheme of things.

And we are thankful.  Although a small part, we get to play a role, we get to touch lives.

And I want to encourage you….There is a plan for you as well.  You have giftings and talents that are waiting to be awakened.

Find out what makes you the most happy, the most fulfilled.

Maybe you are not great at it, maybe its something small and you see no value in it…. No matter the excuse, the fear…..Awaken it!

Take the time to cultivate it.  It will be so worth it when you do!

So this little post is just to thank-you for allowing us to use our gift and supporting and encouraging us on this journey of owning our own business,

working together as a husband and wife,

and doing this all knowing that there is a bigger plan ahead.

We thank-you so so much and we want to encourage you to find your gift and live it out.  It is the most fulfilling thing in the world.
