Hi there! Welcome to the Luke & Ashley blog, a journal about our lives, our beautiful couples, and their stories we get to tell. Stay a while and do say hello if you please!
This week’s challenge was a little difficult to me. The subject was Out Of Focus.
As a Photographer my goal is to get tack sharp images.
Having my subject in focus is definitely one of the most important things to me when I take a picture.
So when I saw this weeks topic, I had to think about it for a few days. This was going against the grain of my whole photography life! lol. So I definitely needed time to think about this!
Taking an out of focus picture is easy. However, I really did want this to mean something.
I wanted to showcase something in my life that made sense with these pictures.
I thought about an out of focus picture. What makes it out of focus? It is when your subject is blurry.
I then began to think about the blurry moments in my life. Those moments that will one day be so very important to me and yet at this time are times of blurriness.
I immediately thought about my mornings. I am not a morning person. I really wish I was. However, I am not.
So when I get up everything is just a blur!
I get the kids breakfast, make my coffee, and just sit and stare at the kids while I try to wake up. I am sure it is a sight to see!
I know these are fleeting moments that have become a blur in my life.
I know that one day I will miss these sweet moments. And so today I woke up a little early and enjoyed the morning.
Enjoyed fixing breakfast for my kids, and enjoyed their sweetness.
Even if it is a blur at times I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything in the world.
