Usually clients will book with us 6 months to a year out from their wedding date.  Sometimes they will book us way in advance and then there are times where they will book us only a couple of months out if we are available.  This was Jennifer in Chris.  They called in July and they married in August!

I was literally so happy that we were available for these two.  We definitely made it work by doing a fun engagement session at First Landing State Park and then getting everything into motion for their big day.

When we arrived Jen was glowing.  She was nervous… But she was more excited.  And more than that she was stunning!  As I worked to get her details done and Luke worked on getting together with the guys… She just smiled and laughed and really enjoyed the moment before she would walk down the aisle.

Her dress was gorgeous on the hanger and I was so excited to take some pretty dress shots… But that dress was not made to be on the hanger…

It was made to be on her!  When she slipped her dress on…

We all stood back in just awe…. She was a BRIDE and an absolutely GORGEOUS bride at that!

Jennifer & Chris were married at the Sheraton in Norfolk.  They were upgraded to the presidential suite which was definitely worth it!!

As Chris saw his bride come down the aisle… Tears welled up in his eyes.  He was more in love with her at that moment and his love just grew with each passing moment.

Jenn was enamored by her groom and couldn’t wait to say I Do.

I must say that Jenn is such a trooper.  As we were doing pictures on the dock she slipped out of her shoes for a moment because they were bothering her.  Careful as we were she still managed to get a splinter in her foot!  Holding and squeezing onto Luke & I… Chris pulled out a splinter that was probably a 1/2 inch into her foot.

Jenn smiled through it all and made it through her portrait session just in time for her first dance!

I just love her personality and outlook on life. And Chris is absolutely crazy about her!
