Family is so important to these two and I love how even in their proposal story, they were surrounded by their loved ones.
From the bride;
We had been talking about marriage for a few years but never really put serious thought into it until we moved to Omaha together in July 2017. Once we got here we started talking seriously about getting engaged and ring budget and all of those fun conversations. About a month after we moved here we were going to go on a large family vacation in Alabama with my entire extended family. We are all very close and it’s a big yearly event so it’s pretty meaningful to me. Before we left for vacation we had looked at rings once and he told me that he wanted to ask my parents in person, so at some point during the week, I had to get my sister out of the house so that he could ask them without interruptions. I got her out of the house with my younger cousin and we ran to the store so that he had time to ask them. When we got back to the house it was empty, and my sister suggested they all might be out on the beach to have a fire. When we walked out onto the porch my entire family was out on the beach and they’d set up candles down the pier and in the sand. Cory was standing at the bottom in front of all of these candles with my family in the background. Although I have no memory at all about what he said 🙂 he asked me to marry him and as I said yes, completely by happenstance, a pier down the beach from our house set of fireworks! My entire family was there with us, we were on the beach, there were candles and fireworks, it was absolutely perfect.

We are falling in love with this venue more and more with each visit! These two picked the perfect backdrop for their gorgeous wedding and we were honored to be able to capture their beautiful story.
