Hi there! Welcome to the Luke & Ashley blog, a journal about our lives, our beautiful couples, and their stories we get to tell. Stay a while and do say hello if you please!
I know I say this all the time, but each wedding there are so many things that I love! From the venue to the decor, and especially the awesome couples! Jared & Shayna are literally some of the coolest people we know. We like hanging around them because we feel instantly cooler. They have great style, great personalities, and their chemistry is FIRE! They are one of the easiest couples to pose and direct because honestly there is little coaching from us…
They just got it going on.
The above description was exactly the ambiance of the room that night. From hanging macrame’s, to agate stone table numbers, and the tables lined with colorful different glassware from MadHatter, it came together so beautifully. I especially loved the arbor that had a huge macrame hanging from it and adorned with beautiful red roses and greenery. It was perfection!
Shayna wanted an outdoor ceremony. And I am so glad she went for it. It was a little chilly, but worth to see that beautiful couple underneath that beautiful light! I love that the Post Office has this little park walking distance from the venue. It makes the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony as well as another location for photos. Jared and Shayna’s beautiful arbor was placed against a big tree and under that tree is where they said I do. It was absolutely beautiful. Oh and did I mention the light? The light was AMAZING! And my favorite? These two celebrating down the aisle while their guest popped rice paper confetti for the new bride & groom. I have always wanted to do a picture like that! It was so much fun!
Mr. & Mrs. Hughes… You guys are such an incredible couple! We loved celebrating your love and new adventure with you! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

This image stopped me in my tracks. Luke took this picture and it is a favorite! The composition, Shayna’s expression. This is everything!
Oh and I have decided to start incorporating some fun pictures in the photo booth into the blog! We always have fun in the Photo Booth!
