It has been really quiet here lately… And the reason being is that Luke & I have been traveling!!! We were able to take a trip to his home state of New Mexico! It has been such a treat visiting with family and just being able to relax some! I will be sharing lots of our visit on the blog soon!
Another reason we flew out west was because of this couple right here! Jeff & Melissa decided to have a winter wedding in the beautiful state of Colorado! Luke & I feel so honored that they trusted us for their big day!
What a dream it was to be able to photograph such a gorgeous wedding with such beautiful snowy mountains in the background! I know Virginia got lots of snow while we were gone but there is something about the snow on the Rocky Mountains that is even more serene!
Jeff & Melissa met on a blind date. And although life would take them on different paths, they ended up finding each other 3 years later at the end of the path. The best man gave such a sweet speech. He said that Jeff loved her from the very beginning. And meeting Jeff and seeing the way he looks at her…. You can definitely see how much he adores his beautiful wife.
Melissa was stunning! I just couldn’t get over her beautiful gown and faux fur shawl. She did such a phenomenal job picking out the wedding colors. The cranberry and navy blue was such a beautiful contrast against the white snowy backdrop.
Again this wedding was an all around dream to shoot! Colorado is such a beautiful state and it was definitely on our bucket list to shoot a snowy winter wedding in the mountains!!!
