Adventures With Luke & Ash { Durango, Colorado Trip }
It is Monday evening and this was my first day back into the swing of things. School with the kids, laundry galore, and email after email to respond to. I cannot believe it was just a few short days ago we were out west in the beautiful states of New Mexico and Colorado.
During our Durango Colorado Trip we spent time with family, shot a gorgeous winter wedding, went sledding, rode a train,
and saw some amazing sites! This made this vacation one of the best!
I have gone back many times with Luke to his home state of New Mexico. And we have always traveled into the beautiful town of Durango, Colorado. And although I have always thought it was pretty…. There is nothing like seeing the Rocky Mountains covered in snow! It was like something out of a movie!
This year we will travel together more than we have since we have been married! The month of May alone will be whirlwind of traveling!!! From Georgia to Jamaica and then to the OBX we will definitely be making our rounds! I love to travel and see new sites and meet people. However, I will say that there is nothing like coming home to your own bed and your own house.
I am probably rambling right now because it is late so I will share these fun pictures from our recent trip out west!
Thank-You for reading and do share your favorite places to visit as I would love to hear them!
-Luke & Ash-
- First Up is this awesome museum and more than that… This awesome peek into a mans life who was never afraid of adventure. We went to the Bolack museum of Fish and wildlife. This museum was dedicated to Tom Bolack and houses over 2500 specimens. Also on the ranch we were able to visit an incredible electrical museum which was unlike anything I have ever seen. In this museum was one of Elvis’ cadillacs and more! You can read more about this amazing place here!

Ryan in the cockpit of a plane of Mr. Bolacks.
- Next up we went sledding!!! Or should I say tubing! This was the kids first time and we had too much fun!!! Ryan kept eating the snow but as long as it wasn’t yellow I was okay with it!

Cannot wait to share the video Luke made with the Osmo! It is incredible!
So Sweet holding hands!!!

Resting among the luggage with the iPad!

Next we went on a train ride through the mountains in Durango! So excited we got to see this hot air balloon!

Bored already!

Stop growing up please!

And to end with this beautiful rainbow!

Luke, I remember when your grandfather & grandmother and myself came out and took you and Lauren on the train. We made the mistske of buying you a train whistle and you drove us all crazy with it! Remember???
I hope someone bought Ryan one and you had to endure it! LOL!!!
Great pictures. The kids are getting so big! Thanks for sharing. Love you, Aunt Patty
