So this morning as I do my morning Facebook run through I immediately see a post saying that a friend of mine had a fire in her home. She Lost EVERYTHING! She is safe, her husband is safe, and her little boy is safe. PRAISE GOD.
Fires are devastating. They consume and destroy everything. In 2011 our garage burnt down. Completely. We lost everything in the garage. And although it was just my garage, it really put my life on hold.
My washer and dryer was in there and that meant for 4 months going to the laundry mat.
This girl just lost her house. I can’t imagine. And the thing is they just recently had it fixed up because pipes burst and flooded and destroyed their home. My heart is heavy. But I also know that when things like this happen people are quick to rally around and help where they can.
And that is what I am doing. I am asking for help from all of you. Luke and I are going to be hosting mini sessions on the 19th. These are going to be 20 minute slots. In return we ask that you bring stuff to help this family. Their son is 18 months. He lost ALL is clothes. She could use clothes, diapers, gift cards, and anything else you can think of that would help. Please bring new or barely used. You will receive 5 digital images via PASS. I LOVE this community and I know that they are going to be okay because of people like you that are going to rally behind them. Do they need a crib I have a graco 3 in 1 solid wood they can have what size diapers
Hi Brittany! Thank-You so much for your thoughtfulness! I am not sure if they need a crib. They are living with others right now and I know they don’t have much room to store stuff.
