Eric & Heather { Windsor Castle Park }

Sometimes we book couples without even meeting them in person.  It is happening more often.  Sometimes it is because they do not live close by.

Sometimes it is the ease of  our website and booking process.  And then sometimes it is because of a mutual friend.

Heather & Eric were referred to us from a mutual friend or should I say his sister.  I had the opportunity this past summer to get to know his sister,

Amy who is also a photographer.  She is so sweet and when she referred us for her brothers wedding, we were truly humbled.

They booked with us before even meeting us!

Well I must let out a secret… I do Facebook stalk… or Instagram stalk.

 When someone books with us that I never met  I make sure to get to know them through their social media…

I know a little weird.  But it seriously paid off!

I went to Heathers page and friended her.  I began following her posts and looking through her pictures.

We had already set up the engagement session so I was getting myself ready!

Little did I know that I would see them at the mall a couple of days later.  I knew it was them when I saw them.  However, they had no idea who we were!

It is a little weird to walk up to someone and introduce yourself and that the only reason you recognize them is through their social media photos…

( Can anyone say “stalker”)??

I guess I feel that I need to be prepared as much as possible and if Facebook and Instagram want to be that platform then I am all for it!

These two are so laid back and seriously so much fun!  Once Eric warmed up he had us rolling!   I love their personality together!

I am so excited for their wedding this coming April.

Heather is going to be a stunning bride and we cannot wait to see what Eric comes up with regarding his tux! We will definitely be anticipating.

We have a feeling we won’t be disappointed.

Windsor Castle Park is fun to shoot at but definitely a Photographers hot spot.  I had never seen so many photographers in one spot!

I felt like the paparazzi was there!   As much as I love the different looks I think  I will have to lay off the park for awhile…

Maybe this winter I will go on some location scouting for new fun spots!
