Tal & Rochelle had the most sweetest ceremony at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art ( MOCA ).

Getting married in June in Virginia is a gorgeous month to get married in.  Most of the rain has passed and the days are longer. One thing though, the heat usually starts to set in.  This was the case this past Saturday.  It was hot!

Tal & Rochelle were smart.  They opted for an indoor ceremony.  We usually like to do portraits outside but because of the heat we decided to stay inside for most of them.

This was not a problem though.  The MOCA has some of the most GORGEOUS light!  The light poured through and we were able to get some beautiful portraits of Tal & Rochelle as well as their fun bridal party!

Luke & I had never been a part of a Jewish wedding.  This was definitely a first and such a joy to capture.  The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful.   The prayers given by the Rabbi,  as well as their own sweet vows were perfect.

The night ended on a high with such a joyous celebration including the traditional Hora dance.

A Big Thank-You to Marci from Chef By Design for her incredible idea of one last dance of the couple when everyone leaves.  This moment between the bride and groom was seriously the best of all.  The lights shining down on the room, Jason Bay singing in the background and Rochelle & Tal dancing the last dance of the night just the two of them.  This should definitely become a tradition in itself.

Tal & Rochelle…. Thank-you.  You guys were such a joy to work with.  Thank-you for inviting us into one of the most special days and letting us be apart of the celebration.  You guys are amazing together and you two are going to do amazing things together.
