Cloudy skies & drizzling rain on what was supposed to be a beautiful Saturday in June. Things were not going as planned…and yet that was okay. Despite the change of plans, Chris and Dana had such beautiful ceremony. The rain let up some so they were able to stand under a tree in the courtyard of the Mariners Museum. Loved ones gathered around under the awning and listened as the Minister blessed these two. It was so fitting when he said..”Rains will come…” Because they do come in many forms… however, love conquers all. And that is what Chris and Dana have…Love. A simple, sweet, and innocent love for one another.
They decided to a First Look and I am so glad they did. This gave the two time with one another before the ceremony and gave us time to take their pictures. Right after the ceremony the rain came down harder so I was relieved that we had gotten their pictures out of the way.
The reception was full of love and laughter. They warned me that Borat was going to show up and sure enough he/she did in many forms! lol. It was fun to watch everyone dancing and having a good time. Dana’s family impressed us the most with their dancing skills. Especially her brother. He was pretty awesome!
Loved their colors…Coral, Navy Blue, & Ivory. (Dana’s colors were actually some of my inspiration of our colors when we re-launch)…So thank-You Dana!
Here are some of my favorites of this Mariners Museum Wedding…Have many more but that would be an exceptionally long post! lol.
