So What is a Shoot & Share Photographer? {Hampton Roads Wedding Photographers}

The new term that you will be hearing from us more and more is “shoot & share.”   What exactly does this mean and what does this mean for you, our lovely Brides and Grooms?

Well Luke and I have always been shoot and share.  We would shoot a session burn it onto a disc and deliver the goods.  We did not hold onto the digitals and have the client purchase prints.

There is no right or wrong way.  Photographers do what works for them and their market.  However, with our schedule, being a shoot and share is what works for us.

With our re-launch we decided to take it up a notch.  Instead of having to wait on us to order and deliver the discs, (which would take a couple of weeks), we now upload to PASS.  PASS was one of the best additions we have made to our business.  PASS is basically an online beautiful presentation of all your edited images.  It is a place where you can easily share out to all your loved ones, download straight to your computer, and order prints.  Living in a military area, most people are away from their family.  Before, the client would have to download all the images, pick the ones they wanted to send, and either order prints, or send digital files.  PASS has eliminated most of the steps for you.  All you have to do is share out the link and your loved ones can download, order the prints that they want.  And being a newlywed…the less steps the better.  We want you focusing on each other, not on sending everyone pictures.  🙂

We are still all about the experience…In fact even more I would say.  Not only do we share the digitals but we also provide Canvases, as well as an unbound album for our wedding couples.

(I will have a whole blog post on what exactly this is….but it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!)

We like to keep things simple and yet provide you with the best quality,  so that is why we don’t have all these extra bells and whistles.  We want you to have access to your images very quickly and PASS makes that possible.

Above is a video of what PASS is so you can have a better idea….
