Old Town is such a gorgeous location for engagement photos.

These Old Town Alexandria Engagement Photos are such a good sight for these tired Monday eyes! Originally we had planned to do Steven & Sarah’s session in DC. We were planning on visiting the monuments and more. However, the weekend of their session was also the cherry blossom festival weekend and Sarah made the call to move their session to Old Town Alexandria. I think that it worked out perfectly! With all the cute little places and the trees starting to bloom, we lucked out and had one of best engagement sessions!

We met Steven and Sarah almost a year and half ago when they chose us as their wedding photographer and we absolutely loved them! Steven and Sarah do not live in our area and so when we met up with them in Alexandria we thought that it would be like meeting them for the first time again. This couldn’t be far from the truth. These two are so down to earth and genuine. They could make a friend out of anyone! I love how they are able to laugh together and joke around. Their sense of humor compliments the other and they are truly an incredible team!

They had the best outfits for engagement photos!

I love how classy and yet simple their outfit selections were. They looked amazing and with the golden light enveloping them, it was picture perfect! I always love when our couples choose at least one dressy outfit. I mean how often do you get your picture taken when your all dressed up?? Never! If your getting your pictures done, definitely take advantage of the moment and choose a dressier option. You probably won’t regret it!

Seven Springs Farm

These two will be having their celebration at Seven Springs Farm later this year in October. Luke and I are so excited to be at this gorgeous location. The weddings I have seen done there are absolutely amazing! From the grounds, to the beautiful houses, it looks like a dream! We will definitely be praying for good weather for the bride and groom!

Before their engagement session I had Steven & Sarah fill out a short questionaire so that we could get to know them better. One thing I asked them was what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day. They both said the same thing. Seeing the other person down the aisle and becoming husband and wife.

Luke and I are looking forward to celebrating with this beautiful couple! We loved our time with them both and they remind us why we do what we do!
