What a fun session we had with these three this past Sunday!
I say 3 because Murphy was the cutest goldendoodle ever!!!

We met up at Casey’s family’s property in Newport News. Their property was gorgeous!!

These two will be getting married next month in Williamsburg! As we were shooting I asked Casey to describe their wedding & I love what Casey had to say…
Her wedding can be best described as one of her grandmother’s quilts.
The pieces each have their own special meaning. Each piece represents something special. As the quilt begins to get pieced together it might seem that the pieces really shouldn’t go together. Mismatched patterns, textures and colors.
And then the final product is finished and the quilt is perfect. The stories intertwine and although can stand alone on their own make such a fascinating and beautiful story when it all comes together.
I cannot wait to see her wedding come together and most importantly watch them 3 become a family.
Thank-you Kevin, Casey, and Murphy for having us and letting our kids run around! They had a blast and keep asking when we are going back!

WOW – stunning, beautifully done and what a way to encapsulate the love between these three. Yes, I agree that Casey’s statement about life/the wedding being like her grandmother’s quilt is so eloquent and true. Adding the black and white’s along with the ring entwined in nature was the perfect touch. Murphy, the dog has a few of his own stolen moments which truly reflects how important he is to both of them; their K9 baby. Murphy’s facial expressions are priceless. Thanks to Casey and Kevin for sharing these personal moments and thanks to you, Luke & Ashley, for being able to capture their love. Well done.
