What a joy it has been watching this couple create a beautiful family. I remember meeting with Ashley and her parents at their office 3 years ago! They were hiring us for their wedding and we were so excited to get to work with them. Paul and Ashley were such a fun couple to work with. Their wedding day was full of so much happiness and excitement for their future. And here we are now. 3 years later and they are expecting baby number 2. A sweet beautiful baby girl. The anticipation and excitement is real. Even though Ashley was a gorgeous bride, I think motherhood looks even more amazing on her.
Can I do all photoshoots in our neighborhood?
We recently moved and we are living in an area that I cannot get enough of shooting at. Funny story is that 3 years before we did Paul & Ashley’s engagement session right here. We had no idea that we would be buying a home here. It came full circle and we loved it. The place not only holds meaning to us but also some of our couples! I cannot wait to have more sessions pretty much in our backyard and create memories with more of our clients.
The day was gloomy.
We were worried about rain, but after watching the weather radar we decided to go ahead with the session. I actually love the gloomy light as it adds a touch of softness to the photos. All in all it was perfect weather for their session!
I am excited for this family and all that this life has for them. Not only are they expecting baby #2, Ashley is making the move to stay home and pursue her small business! I am so proud of her and excited to see everything unfold for her! She is incredibly talented so you should definitely check out her work at The Golden Elephant.
