Hi there! Welcome to the Luke & Ashley blog, a journal about our lives, our beautiful couples, and their stories we get to tell. Stay a while and do say hello if you please!
Last week I shared the first part to this amazing wedding on the blog! Today I am excited to share the second part. Their actual wedding day! First off I just want to say a BIG thank-you to Kristine and Ashley for filling in and just being awesome! We seriously could not have pulled this off without you both and we are so grateful to you guys! Thank-You!!!
Early in the morning makeup and hair started as the day before. However, this day was different. Pruthvi would leave that night as a wife. She would no longer be single but be joined to Akshat. Starting a life together full of dreams and anticipation. After two days of celebration it was the moment everyone was waiting for. There was so much joy and excitement that had built up and everyone was ready for these two to become husband and wife.
The day unfolded before them. During the Baraat which is the grooms procession to the venue, He was followed by dancing, laughter, and jubilee. Akshat proceeded on his steed with honor and esteem to meet his love that he would soon call his wife.
Pruthvi waited for her moment to see him. This was a moment of pure happiness. Everyone celebrated as they lifted her up and she greeted him with a beautiful garland signifying their wedding rituals were about to begin. The joy and anticipation only began to grow from there!
Soon after they were married and it was a beautiful thing to witness.
We cannot thank this beautiful family for such an amazing opportunity. I know I went into this already but we are truly honored to have been able to be invited into such an amazing celebration. Thank-you over and over again for your trust in us. We love you guys and we cannot wait for the next Indian wedding where we can see you again!
