This couple was such a fun beautiful couple to work with. We originally met them at their engagement session in DC. Their session happened right before the Coronavirus hit and we lucked out with having almost all of DC empty during the cherry blossoms in season! I don’t think we will ever get that opportunity again! Their DC engagement session can be found here.
They have the sweetest personalities and they are so easy to get along with and be around. After getting to know them a little in Washington DC, we were looking forward to their Williamsburg Inn wedding that would be happening a couple of months later.
With COVID, the wedding industry has been hit pretty hard. Couples are having to reschedule their weddings or cancel altogether. It has been a stressful time and I was so worried that Jacob & Evie’s wedding was going to be postponed.
Luckily, they were still able to have their wedding celebration with a more intimate guest count. They married on July 2nd of this year and we were all so excited to just be working and celebrating together after being in lockdown!
Evie was just a dream to work with. It’s been a couple of months and just looking at these photos I can still hear her laugh and remember how much of a sweetheart she was.
The colors of Jacob & Evie’s wedding was soft pinks, blues, violets, and greens. Still soft and romantic and yet still so colorful. The Williamsburg Inn was the perfect backdrop for their day. Despite the July heat in Virginia, these two rocked their portraits.
Thank you to this gorgeous couple for trusting us with their most perfect day! We adored our time with you and we wish you both a lifetime of love & happiness!
