Carnegie Institution for Science Wedding

 

Tim & Mary got married at the Carnegie Institution for Science on the day when Hurricane Matthew decided to plummet the East Coast.  Thankfully DC didn’t get hit hard like the Hampton Roads area did.   We were able to handle the little bit of rain that came our way and loved how the mist and cute umbrellas made for unique pictures!

We met up with this cute couple earlier this year in DC when the cherry blossoms were in bloom.  During that time with them we fell in love with their personalities and their love for life.  They took us all around DC and we loved being able to hear their story and see DC in a non-touristy way! I never would have guessed that Mary was an Oklahoma girl at heart!  The way she knows her way around the city and her style makes her look completely at home in the heart of DC!

Their wedding day finally arrived and Mary was as stunning as ever!  She took my breath away so I can only imagine how her handsome groom felt  when he saw her!  Tim looked so dapper in his tuxedo and the venue they picked was the perfect backdrop for their attire!  I literally could shoot in the city ALL THE TIME!  As long as I have uber on speed dial!

I love these two!  I not only adore them but also their family!   All of their family is just as amazing.  These two have such great role models to look up to that replicate what marriage should be. Most of all,  it was such an honor to be around them all  day and witness such love.
