When we first started announcing our On Hands OCF Workshop we started getting messages and emails trickling in about when or if we were traveling to Northern VA to teach our class.

That honestly never even crossed our mind and I wasn’t sure if we would be able to make it happen with our schedule and other logistics.

However, doors started to open and interest started brewing and so we decided to give it a go!

And I must say that we had so much fun!  Belle Grove was such a beautiful location and to have the whole house to ourselves was absolutely AWESOME!!

Attendees came from all over Virginia & Maryland.  There was such excitement and eagerness to learn and overcome their fear and anxiety when it comes to getting their flash off their camera.

We went over equipment, settings, and different scenarios.  I love how we changed things up a bit by setting up a scene and giving them 1 or 2 of the settings and they had to figure out what the 3rd setting was to get the look they wanted to achieve.  This helped them understand how each setting controls the flash and ambient light.

It was so rewarding watching the lightbulb go off and confidence arising.

Luke & I are so thankful for such an amazing opportunity and for those that pushed us to travel and try something new!

And thank-you to our Nikon Guru Miss Amanda!  Her knowledge is invaluable and she is such a blessing to us!

Lastly Thank-You to Michelle from Belle Grove Plantation.  Her venue is lovely and it was such a joy to have open space and freedom to move around, explore and try new things!
