Alturia Farm Wedding

There are some days that I really question myself if this is a real job or not. I mean, getting to celebrate a couples best day week after week is such an honor. And on top of that… Couples like Pete & Caitlin… It’s like the cherry on top.

This past Saturday we drove up to Alturia Farm outside of Richmond.

This is all farm country and such a beautiful drive. We were already familiar with the venue as we did Pete & Caitlin’s engagement session here just this past April. We were excited to go back to such a beautiful property and spend the day with them and their families.

I know I say this with all my couples..( And that is why I ask myself if this is real life), but I adore these two. I seriously could not get enough of their energy, kindness, and fun personalities. They were everything that we could ever dream of for a couple. Nothing phases these two and their down to earth view on life is so contagious. They compliment one another so well and as I watched them say their vows, I couldn’t help but think about their future together. The legacy they will leave.

My favorite moment of the day was watching Pete witness his bride coming down the aisle.

He tried to hold it in..

But we got ya Pete! Their love and friendship that they share is something that not many people have and we know that they will cherish it all of their days. They not only have something rare, but even better they know it.

Luke & I cannot thank-you two enough for having us! For bearing with the heat during portraits and being just awesome! We love you guys and wish you a very happy fulfilling marriage!
