Who doesn’t LOVE fall engagement photos?

Especially when they are taken in the heart of Williamsburg VA!

Dalton & Brittany are seriously the cutest couples ever!  They are high school sweethearts.  They met in 9th grade at Jamestown High School in their Earth Science class. ( Who remembers that class?) After attending homecomings and proms and all the in-betweens they were inseparable! From Brittany’s own words:

I knew in high school I couldn’t imagine my life without him! But as we did long distance in college and then when I moved up to Blacksburg I knew I couldn’t let him go! We are attached at the hip! I can’t put my finger on the exact time I knew he was the one but I knew pretty early that we had something really special!

We met up with these two sweethearts in Colonial Williamsburg.

So we really really like these two.  Sometimes, sessions can be hard, or a little awkward.  Which is quite normal and something we expect.  Not with Brittany and Dalton.  We helped them feel comfortable in front of the camera and the session was full of laughter and fun. Oh, and of course their beautiful pup Storm was also a star in front of the camera! There is something so sweet getting two best friends together for a photo session.  Their friendship and love make it so easy!

Williamsburg, VA is absolutely gorgeous in the fall.

This session took place right before Thanksgiving weekend and the trees were at their peak.  I think Williamsburg was trying to show off a little! We stayed in the historic area and because it was absolutely perfect we didn’t need to go far. Brittany wore the perfect clothes for their fall engagement shoot.  You can never go wrong with a lovely sweater and a great pair of boots!  So take notes if you’re planning your engagement session and if you’re really stuck you can always read this POST we put together for all those couples planning their engagement shoot. I am anticipating seeing this girl as a bride because she is going to be absolutely STUNNING!

We cannot wait for this Kingsmill resort wedding in 2019!

These two will be getting married in Kingsmill and we will be working alongside some amazing talent for their wedding day!  Including Jess with the Wedding Co. Of Williamsburg, Karen with Aleen Floral Design, and Andrew & Brittany with One Story Films!  Talk about the DREAM TEAM right there!  We cannot wait for the day that we can get them back in front of the camera!

One thing we are most excited about is to meet all their family and witness them all come together to celebrate these two become husband and wife. Being together for such a long period of time and pretty much growing up together definitely adds so much history and richness to the story.  It will be amazing witnessing these two families become one!
