Winter Maternity Session

I was introduced to Brannan at a Tuesday’s Together awhile back.  She radiates such joy and kindness.  I seriously fell in love with her immediately.  I began following her on her social media outlets and soon realized that her and her sweet hubby were battling infertility.  I followed along on her journey.  Her vulnerability and honesty tugged on my heart strings.  I found myself heart broken over the pain she shared.  I also found myself celebrating with her in my living room surrounded by my children when she shared her success.

Being vulnerable and sharing your story is hard.  Inviting strangers in to pray and support your journey takes courage and humility.  I have never had to walk in their shoes but I know so many who have.  She has brought so much encouragement and hope to those who are in the trenches right now.  I admire their courageous and generous hearts.

We were so excited to document this special time in their lives.  We started in the comfort of their own home.  You can feel the expectation when you walk through the door.  It was such a beautiful feeling.   We finished up at The Wilcox Christmas Tree Lot as Well as Dean & Don’s.  The Christmas Trees and the lights were the perfect backdrop for this session.  Christmas is a time of wonder and a time of miracles.  It is the time we celebrate the birth of our Savior.  What a beautiful setting for their miracle baby’s maternity session.

” For this child I have prayed. And the Lord has granted the desires of my heart.” 1 Sam 1:27

Brannan & John, it is an honor to know you.  I cannot wait to meet your sweet little girl.  She is blessed to have parents that have fought and prayed for her before she was even born.  Thank-you for inviting us into your lives and capturing this sweet miracle of yours.
