An Adventurous Journey Capturing Love: Travis & Madeline’s Seattle Engagement
Hey there, Luke and Ashley here, Seattle engagement photographers! (Cannot believe I am saying that now)! We are super excited to share an incredible experience we had while capturing the love story of our wonderful couple, Travis and Madeline. We traveled all the way from our hometown in Virginia to the mesmerizing city of Seattle, Washington, to document this special chapter in their lives.
Travis and Madeline, high school sweethearts
with a love story that spans across states, were originally from Virginia.They are high school sweethearts who fell in love at the pool as lifeguards! Virginia is where their story started. However, their hearts found a new home in the enchanting city of Seattle. As their wedding was planned in Virginia for November at the Gala 417, they wanted their engagement photos to reflect the beauty of their current residence, Seattle.
As photographers, we adore adventurous couples who are open to exploring new places for their engagement sessions. Travis and Madeline were undoubtedly the perfect match for us! When they expressed their wish to include various iconic Seattle locations, we were thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with them.
Our adventure started with a scenic ferry ride, taking us from the bustling Seattle waterfront to Whidbey Island, where the iconic Deception Pass awaited us. The weather was a bit windy, but that didn’t dampen our spirits one bit! The breeze added a playful element to the session, and we even managed to capture some candid shots of Travis and Madeline sharing warm laughter amidst the windswept landscape.
Deception Pass proved to be an ideal backdrop for this lovely couple,
showcasing both the breathtaking natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the genuine connection between Travis and Madeline. Their smiles radiated pure happiness as they strolled hand-in-hand across the majestic bridge, and we couldn’t help but marvel at the love and excitement they exuded.
As photographers, one of the most rewarding aspects of our job is witnessing the love stories of couples like Travis and Madeline. Their journey from Virginia to Seattle symbolizes the depth of their commitment to each other, and we were honored to capture that sentiment through our lenses.
Throughout our trip, we explored several other stunning locations. From the iconic Pike Place Market to the picturesque Kerry Park, every spot brought out the charm of this captivating city.

Their journey from high school sweethearts in Virginia to building a new life together in Seattle was nothing short of inspiring.
