Hi there! Welcome to the Luke & Ashley blog, a journal about our lives, our beautiful couples, and their stories we get to tell. Stay a while and do say hello if you please!
So this post brings me smiles as I go back to Sunday just thinking of this fun energetic girl sitting at our table with a cup of Luke’s coffee in hand sharing her passions and dreams and having a few ah ha moments along the way.
Kristen is a photographer who specializes in families and seniors. You can visit her website here! She came to us stuck because she wasn’t sure on where to go and how to get there. Sometimes though we just need to talk it out with others and get a 3rd party opinion. Deep down she knew all along what she wanted she just needed some reassurance.
Sometimes in life we get stuck. We sometimes look around and see others succeed and try to mimic what they are doing but don’t get the same results. Well the thing is we are not all the same. We do not live cookie cutter lives or run cookie cutter businesses. Everyone is different and everyone has different things they have to work out in themselves as well as outside struggles.
As we told Kristen you have to do you. Your business is a reflection of you. What works for others will not always work for you. Not saying that you shouldn’t try to learn from others who are successful, but again take what works and leave what doesn’t at the door.
I think she gets this. After hearing and putting on paper her strengths, dreams and passions. I think she she knows what direction she is going to take. And it is going to be what will work for her and her family. Not what everyone else is doing… Because that is boring. If everyone was the same and offered the same thing…
Then we would just be cookie cutter photographers… And again how boring would that be???
