Catalina State Park Engagement Session

I cannot believe just yesterday Luke & I were tramping through the desert in Arizona.

It always amazes me how fast time flies and even more so when you travel! Friday, Luke & I had the honor to fly to Tucson, Arizona for Adam & Emily’s engagement session. I do have to say it was pretty amazing!  The desert has so much beauty and wide open spaces that we were overwhelmed with all the possibilities!  We had such an amazing time, especially when we ventured to Catalina State Park for their engagement session!  It was pretty awesome!

Before we got started, Adam & Emily treated us for some authentic Mexican food.  We were only there for two days, so trust me I consumed as much Mexican food as I possibly could!  I loved the time we had together to sit and get to know them and their personalities.  They are such genuine and fun people!  I think we ought to incorporate lunch or drinks before every session!

Adam was born and raised in Tucson.  He knows everything there is to know about this city and he loves it there.  Emily is from Virginia and has in the past year made the move to be with Adam.  What a difference Virginia is to Arizona!  She has adjusted quite well and is looking forward to building the beginning of their lives there.

We started their session around the town in Tucson.

So many colorful doors, cactuses, and again more color!  It was so much fun!  After that, we loaded into our cars and drove to Catalina State Park.  Emily loves hiking with their sweet fur baby who they brought along for their session.  This park was incredible!   Emily took us on a little hike but it was oh so worth it!  We even found some water!!  Which is a big deal in Tucson.

These two will be tying the knot in October.  They will be getting married here in Virginia at The Lesner Inn.  October cannot get here quick enough so we can see them again!  Our time with them was one for the books and we are so grateful to have them as friends and celebrate them becoming husband and wife.
